Animal-friendly live trap for mice and rats
Mice and rats in the house or basement are unwanted guests. If you prefer not to use snap traps or poison, this wire cage live trap is a suitable alternative. The animals are captured without injury and can then be released at a suitable location.
The trap consists of a sturdy wire cage and features a base made of FSC-certified wood. The design is intended for repeated use.
The live trap is available in different sizes and adapted to the corresponding animal size:
Mouse trap: 16 × 5.5 × 7 cm
Rat trap: 29 × 11 × 12.3 cm
How it works
At the rear of the trap there is a device for placing bait. This is attached to the touch-sensitive trigger unit. Proven baits include cheese or chocolate.
When a mouse or rat enters the trap and touches the bait mechanism, the entrance flap closes automatically. The animal remains securely enclosed in the cage. The trap should be checked several times a day to allow timely release.
Opening is carried out contact-free via the handle of the spring-loaded door. The trap can then be rebaited and used again.
