Early start for self-sufficiency

The film creates a stable microclimate, supports rapid ripening and promotes the growth of seedlings and plants. In daylight, the air and soil under the film heat up - and this heat is stored longer because the cover protects against cooler weather and wind.
Thanks to the wind protection and a higher soil temperature, your plants can withstand a brief cold spell. Particularly practical, as the right time to sow and plant is becoming increasingly uncertain due to climate change.
Pleasant additional effect: Pests also have a harder time getting to the plants.
Warning: at temperatures below the freezing point, caution is required - this film is not a long-term frost protection.

Sustainable for a good climate!

The cold frame film is partially made of PLA, i.e. based on renewable raw materials, and thus preserves the resources available to us. In addition, it can be composted in a green composting plant. Despite this composting ability, the films are stable enough to withstand wind and weather for a gardening season.

Tips & tricks for use:

The principle is very simple: the film creates a kind of flexible "greenhouse" on the flowerbed. The foil should be at a distance from the earth so that the plants can grow well, especially with fresh seeds, this should be considered carefully.
In the case of a raised bed, the film can therefore simply be placed on the frame of the bed if the soil is at a distance from the edge. In the outdoor flowerbed, a gap should be created: this is particularly easy with a tunnel arch. Here you can then decide for yourself, depending on the position and weather conditions, whether you need the foil tunnel open or completely closed. Of course, other supports can be improvised depending on what you have in the garden.
The edges should be weighted down with pegs, stones, boards or soil. The foil should be removed for watering. The small holes in the film are used for optimal air exchange.
