Cold insulation for young trees and bushes
The natural mat made of strong needled felt (500 g/m²) is an effective frost protection for cold-sensitive plants. The jute mat is placed around the trunk of the plant (tree, shrub, potted plant) so that the soil and roots are covered; the incision makes it easier to attach. The breathable natural material helps the plant to store water and at the same time protects it from extreme temperatures.
Natural weed control in the summer
In the warm season, the jute mat can be placed in the flowerbed instead of or under a classic layer of bark mulch, thus helping to control weeds. It is biodegradable and rots naturally after a few years.
